Crazy Fun in Montana With Baby Brother

I met a lot of nice people in Montana. Gold fish races... who thought of this? It was a benefit for children. The food was great! I even fried bread dipped in sweet butter. It was so good. I'm so bad. Bud thought all of this was boring and decided to stay in the car.

Back With Elvis- Boys Will be Boys

Bud and Elvis are best friends on Elvis's property. They are constant companions. You'll see here one of their play sessions, Elvis wanted Bud's stick. After he took Bud's stick he was inconsolable and he came to me for help.

Montana Stick Bud

He likes his Montana sticks better than balls since he is in Montana . Bud is obsessed with sticks anywhere we go- the lake, the forest, and on the nature walks. They tend to be hazardous because they are so big, but we can't make him stop doing it. Bud has transferred his obsession from digging to getting a big stick and twirling. He is now obsessive about the stick. It's a lab thing. We just have to warn people about the stick so they don't get bumped on the leg. It is good to see him have so much fun. He is very puppy-ish.

Bud's First Day in Montana

Ever since we have been in Montana, Bud has been acting like a year old pup. Bud is running around, playing with dogs, moving his tail back and forth. He wants me to move here. I might have to do it for my dog. He has never been happier. We are staying at my brother's ranch. The first picture is on my brother's deck. The second picture is Bud playing in Lake Mary. The water is so clear. It is gorgeous. We are having a blast. Watch for more blogs coming up!

Bud on the Plane

Bud, I am glad you retired because you did not like traveling. Bud, for all purposes is retired from being a service dog because he didn't love it like Jetta did. Bud came with me to montana as my retired service dog legally. He did really well. He managed and was a very good boy until the layover in Seattle. That was until the layover in Seattle where he was supposed to potty in the airport. He said, "Mom, I don't want to go here. This isn't real grass. This stinks."As you can see, he wouldn't even go there for Jewel, whom he loves. So basically he held his bladder until we got to Montana several hours later. Here is another picture of him in the plane. He was sort of crowded. As you can see, he has a neck pillow to help make him comfortable. It was all worth it when we landed. He loved the Montana air and his tail started wagging again. When traveling with a service dog, this is a potential problem. Most all of service dogs would have gone pee on command. This is another reason he is retired now. Oh, Buddy boy, what am I going to do with you?

Bud Visits Jewel's House

Bud met Robyn a couple of weeks ago. Jewel walked Bud while her boyfriend walked Robyn, and they all walked together for about ten minutes. After they were properly introduced, Robyn met Bud again at my house. Since they got along so well, Jewel took Bud to her house where all three dogs played together. They didn't just parallel play, but they ran around teasing and chasing each other! Ericka gives great advice, and because of her, the dogs were properly introduced and are now friends.
