Life Is Good

Bud is a happy dog. I love my dog so I take good care of him. Recently I purchased slip covers because the leather love seat has been destroyed by his nails and age... It has been his spot for the nine years of his life. The love seat had been damaged from his nail etc. Some people don't let their dogs on the furniture. I see why now. Bud has a cozy crate in my office where I do my writing which is a lot of time every day. Bud has a large memory foam bed in the living room as well.
Bud goes on the love seat to look out the front window. I didn't think it was possible he could love that spot even more! the slip covers are quilted pad and extra cushy. He loves it the only problem is that Gracie, who has a cozy crate in my bedroom and a basket with soft blankets, wants to also lay on the love seat now.
Miss Gracie found this love seat too irresistible! Bud is good natured about it but afraid of Gracie's grouchy mornings. What to do, what to do?

Mom's New Floor

Mom got new floors. I was happy with the old floor. I could lay on the floor when i was wet and Mom let me and sis Gracie clean up her dinner in the living room. She let me wait by the kitchen table drooling while waiting for her to give me her egg yolk and she let me clean up the bowl of yogurt and little Gracie licks the spoon.
But now I don't know what to do or where to go. She keeps saying no drooling on her new floor. You used to love my drool? you said you love it? where do I go? Thank goodness there's still carpet in this house!
Gracie says I love the floor! it feels so good on my back. Mom always gets mad though and says I bring sticks and dirt in from the yard.
Mom caves when Gracie is gone, she lets me lick the bowl again in the living room but says I have to try and not make a mess. Mom had one of her helpers buy a mat for the floor so that when I wait for food in the morning my drool doesn't get all over her precious floor. Mom says Gracie and I are more important than having a clean house..

Mom's Office Day Is So Borng That Bud Naps

I love writing but I dread office work; you know like paying bills and files papers, making appointments etc. I would much rather take Bud to the beach or get Gracie exercised. Anything to get me out of the house! The other day I was working at my desk with a helper and I lost track of the time. It had been 3 hours. I spent the rest  of the afternoon outside. I LOVE watching Bud play. Bud is the best digger in the history of great diggers, he is the BEST.
