Thank God For My Caregivers--they keep me afloat !

My life works easier when I have help. I live with my dog and don't drive anymore. The house work is much for me now, like changing my bed cooking for the week food that I love.
Now I have 3 gals. Tanwnya shops for my food and cooks for me. Did I mention how much I like to eat. Eating is one of my favorite activities. Shopping lately is an adventure. Thank God I don't have to go to Costco or Trader Joes. Bye the way Tanwnya is a huge dog lover!! That's a big part of the job since Bud thinks the gals all work for him. Notice her apron ! Cute she loves Pit Bulls. Thank you for caring about us. We are blessed to have you with us. Love you !

God's Gift Phil Master Gardener

My friend Phil is married to Elisa. Phil has done some many chores around my yard and home that he is an angel to do give of his time. Last he helped me do a project that would taken many, many hours to get done. I watched him and know my orchids are much happier. Thanks to my friend Phil.

The best brownie surprise ever!!!!!

One of my favorite things to do is bake and give and share my talents with my loved ones. I call them my triple layer brownie surprise. They have brownie mix, chocolate chips,peanut butter, cream cheese frosting,chocolate chip cookie in a package,salted peanuts. They are a crowd favorite!

I was home in bed for 2 months after toe surgery. One morning I was watching the Today Show.  I was bored but i like the look of it. But i added more steps and goodies, to make it my creation. I am know for having the skill to make delicious cookies. If anyone wants my secret recipe I will give it to you. It is one of my best creations.I miss having company and sharing my labor of love. I love watching people enjoy my food.

One More Day Of No Friends Over To Play So Mom Will Do

Bud's life is routine. Ever day after I finish my exercises, Bud knows his turn is next. He waits and waits and waits. Finally he see me leaving my bedroom and he just started barking like a spoiled dog. I don't like spoiled dogs so I remembered that I had some bitter spray for dogs to stop them for barking or whatever they are doing to drive you NUTS!
Last week I sprayed him and he stopped the awful barking my face. Now I just have to show the bottle to him and he is quiet. To bad I didn't bring it with me the beach. Here is how he gets his energy out. He plays like this for 20 to 30 minutes and then he is happy until my gal leaves and he makes her play with him for 5 minutes. He comes in ready for a nap. When he was younger he would not stop for hours and hours It's all in my second book about him in Lessons From Jetta.

The Dogs I miss and their people

One of my reasons for loving my dog town are seeing the dog who I know and love. Some friends text me all the time about their days with their dogs.

Here are pics the small dog who is with her new pack used to be my dog for 3 years..3 long years of her barking,biting and cranky temperament| I named Gracie because I fell in love with her anyway. She s a sweetheart. When I see Gracie she come over to sniff me and she remembers that I loved her anyway.

The other dog is Lucy, i took care of her for a week and she comes to visit often, well use to. It helps my soul to see these 4 legged Angels.

All Gracie wants to do is kiss him all the time. Bud is trying to be polite! He is saying at least she could wear a mask!!

My friend Elisa lost her Golden Retriever .............We all mourned Sparky. Many months later Elisa while volunteering at Animal Service as a dog walker every Friday, she about this dog. She is a Boxer-Shepard mix. I told her that I was in love with the breed of Boxers, their great family dogs, high energy, smart, loving and easy to groom. The breed comes from Germany and at on time they were in tracking bears. They have very strong jaws, because they were breed to be guard dogs but the loving, affected side makes the good for families.

German Shepherds are said to be one of the smartest breed. They have are natural vary of strangers a and devoted to their owners. We all know that will defend the owner with their life. They love working, they are assume working with police; also the make wonderful family dog.

Bud gets bored just seeing me all day when one of my caregivers comes for her 2 hour shift Bud looks at the clock and he know 15 minutes. Bud know when is almost done for her shift. He lay on his nest in the kitchen. Then he waits 5 and he goes outside to get the frizbee and then he drops it through the doggy door. Then he goes outside to wait for her to try to leave. Just watch what he does next...................silly dog, smart dog.
