Gracie Worried About Me

Gracie has bonded to me and I am so happy she knows where to go when she is afraid. This morning I was on the bedroom floor doing my exercises like each day and Elisa, one of my caregivers came in the and Gracie heard her voice louder than normal Gracie followed her into the bedroom and layed on me. Bud got in the room to kiss me because silly boy likes to lick my sunblock off.
Gracie spends alot time guarding the house in the front yard. I notice she comes in looking to make sure I'm here.
Gracie took a long time,over one year to bond because of her being abused for her person I believe. Gracie has transformed before our eyes to be happy sweet love bug. That's why I named her Gracie for Amazing Grace, I love that song. She came to me a bad mess and know she is an angel.( Well almost, she does have a mind of her own that's the Terrir in her --she can't help it) Bud kisses me when I am on the floor in the morning. He wants to play. I am so in love with my dogs, they make my life full of love all the time!

HAPPY 10 YEAR BIRTHDAY BUD !

Buddy swam and ran around the bay and then he got to eat a bacon, cheese burger. Bud is such a great dog, I am blessed to have him in my life for these last 10 years. He wakes up with me and shares his day with me. Bud has grown to be a late bloomer now;  he  scenes when I am hurting he knows and helps me by walking slow with me on leash at the pool. He agrees to work there because he gets to carry his ball where I swim most every day. The students love to see him.  My handsome boy, Happy Birthday Baby!!!!!!!! PS little Gracie got to share a bite of burger because that's what good pack members do.

My Dog Is Embaressing Me

Recently I had a dinner party with my close friends.  While we visited two friends were siting on Bud's sofa. Bud LOVES his sofa. I watched him pacing back and forth to the den. He came into the living room. Finally he came in to the living room and just put his head on the sofa. After a minute or two he put one leg up very carefully not to hurt the girl sitting there. Then he slowly carefully put his other leg and pulled his self up and slowly laid his body on the the people sitting there. Then he feel asleep with a big smile on his face!

Bud Does Know The Difference

The world revoles  around Bud; he has outside only toys  and inside only toys.  I was having company and Bud got so excited by more people coming to see him. Of the house was spotless for a dinner party. The floor is clean and wouldn't you know Bud drops an outside toy. Oh well my house is a dog house and would rather have my sweet boy over clean floors and day !

Bud's Traumatic Evening

It was laundry day in Bud's house. We have a new slip cover for the old sofa (Bud's sofa) that we took off to wash. My worker decided to put a chair on the couch so Bud wouldn't get up there and get it dirty without the cover on it. I told my worker not to do it because I knew Bud would be traumatized. I told her a blanket would be better, but she put the chair anyway, and Bud was beside himself. See for yourself the trauma Bud had to endure for 45 minutes while the slip cover was being washed. I think Bud will need therapy for many months for this one.

Dog Manners 101 Sniff Test

Gracie was gone for hours to be groomed and Lesa at Unleashed in Caycous. It was such a good job on Gracie that Bud didn't now it was the same dog. Grace can be cranky in the early morning but she hates cleaning around her eyes. Gracie seems happy to be free of all the hair. Before the cut she got burs and sticks in her fur. Thank you Lisa for working hard on her I 'm going to keep her short. She is happy and she is very loving. Until a dogs sniff her behind. She was on her on the streets of LA. She learned how to defend herself. The other day I saw her kiss Bud on the lips,  watch closely !
Now Gracie has her great stylus !!!
