Mom's special stick place -According to Bud

Another windy, raining day. No beach again. Bummer Mom just reading a book after breakfast. I stand up and give her my sad look. She still in her night gown and the day is not compete with out my play time. Good she is finally getting dressed. Mom lets hurry up please. I stand by her and she puts my collar on. Yes great. I bark and bark as we go out to the garage to get to her scooter. It's wet but not to wet.
Mom says. We go to the commentary way for more of your sticks. I walk next to her scotter all the way to the stick place. I sniff and sniff and sniff the ground has different smells from my beach. More wild critters. Mom stops the scotter and says okay Bud some very good stick fell on the tree in the storm. We stop and mom starts picking up stick and putting them in the basket on scooter. Mom tosses me a stick. Then she find a long one and she can't break to put in the basket. So she tosses it to me. I love big sticks. This stick is long but not big around. I love it. Mom throws and throws the long stick then she can't get it her basket to bring home.The rain is coming down harder and mom is getting all wet. We start for home with carrying the stick in my teeth. My favorite stick. We come home and Mom's helper comes out to garage with laundry. Mom asks her to please help to let Bud in the house. Bud says i'm bring my stick in the house.

I go to my bed with my stick. Then mom's helper takes it away. Bummer. Oh well tomorrow is another day. I have more sticks than ever. Thanks to smart mom knowing the special stick place.

Living With My Huge Pup, Marley

Every day my house is filled with sounds of dogs playing. Bud moans alot and the sound of teeth biting the air is loud. It is very cute........Bud loves it. They usually lay on one dog bed. They are so comfortable together. Marley takes thing off the counter top, like garlic powder, a bottle drink if i leave the room. She has taken the TV remote outside and the phone and any thing she wants if left out. She is not trusted around food, or in the garage alone. She was in the garage with me this morning when i saw her stand up like a human checking out some smelling stuff in bottles to kill white fly in my garden. She is tall enough to take things out of my tray in my walker or in my kitchen sink!
Marley is busy, busy,busy. We train most every morning. And  times during our days.She is fabulous on the job.I hope this will get better when she is not a puppy. One thing she does now is when my driver picks me up 4 times a week she cries like a baby....Loud too, My poor neighbors! shown her is pics of her that i think are cute.

As you see Marley's trainer kept her busy with many dogs many training times. Marley was 5 months old when Kelly got her and Marley has flown in planes, many stores and people to see and visit. My simple life is boring compared to her life with her pack of dogs. One thing Marley wanted was to bond to her person for life. I make sure that Marley has many play friends at the beach and my special attention. She loves being brushed and pampered. Our training sessions are every day and she love the work. Bud gets in there too. He gets treats too....Marley has made Bud young again. ............its something wonderful to see. I am blessed. Thank you God.

Dog Parties Are Too Much Fun

I say that parties are fun especially my dog parties because you just don not know what dogs do until they do it. The have no plan just act in the moment. That's what about them. The party favors are doggy treats that the people brought were yummy. The meatloaf cupcakes are always a hit.
Bud was so good as he always is, Marley was very good too. Bud got toys and 2 his is favorite frizbees. One that Marley the first ate one third of. But Bud got a special frizbee that I keep out of the baby's reach. Marley is smart enough to stand on her hind legs to reach food in the tall cupboards Who wanted a smart pup?
Marley played with her new friend young Golden, Clinger and Molly another herding dog mix. Lucy, Dave's little dog was up on the sofa with Gracie my little recused who is now Mark and Jackie's baby. We sat and enjoyed watching the dogs play and the people cake was good too. Let them eat cake.

Big Bud JR Is 12 Years Young

My Buddy came in my bed this am for his favorite rubs. He was relaxed and I was loving rubbing my handsome dog. After breakfast  I gave him a couple of Marley's training treats. He loves them. Then he got a brushing and then off we go to the beach with his big stick. He dug and and dug and i watched him stop the walkers to thrown the stick for him. First a gal in her 20's then a boy in his teens. As they moved on he found others. He walked up to them and drops his big stick right in front of them. And he stands back and wags is tail and looks at them hopefully and of course they melt. He has always done this from day one. He knows he is a  special boy. On returning home after shower games he got a raw bone. Later when i was in my office he brought it in the house. I draw the line at raw bones in the house. More birthday on the 4th about his party.

New Pack Menber

Marley my new year old pup, service dog is awesome. She is so smart, and she loves Bud. They play all day and they cuddle on his  dog nest. I am so pleased that Bud loves her. I have been training her for months now and am amazed at how well she is doing. She is picking up whatever I ask her to. And sometimes she picks things up on her own. The phone is one of the first items she learned to bring me. Last week she was outside for awhile and I thought that was just too quiet. I walked outside to find the phone on the ground in the dirt. And the TV remote disappears from the night stand if I don't put it in the drawer. Last week I was in my shower and then I could not find my mirror ...............yes Marley. I treasure these moments because she would be a puppy forever. She is my clown dog.  She is perfect in every puppy way.
Her lessons are easy peasy she is very wanting to work. And Bud love us training often thru the day because he gets treats for easy stuff and my girl has to do the hard stuff. My days are busy but I am at my happy place with my dogs. Her book will be out one day and so far I like the title Good Marley My Clown Dog. But I have to finish Wrong Way Bud.

More About Marley

Marley has Cattle Dog in her DNA. That breed is nuts when they are herding cattle the dogs bite the cattle to move and the video I watched was very interesting the dogs work as teams and they are very smart. I thought I thought I would never have a dog other than a Lab. I found out with my rescue girl Gracie that could love and promise a new dog that I would be with her until her last day. Gracie found a perfect family for her self. It killed me a little to let her go but Gracie was much better off with them and I am so happy with this change. I knew that my next pup would need my attention and time. Gracie turned out so well. I let God be in charge.
Marley is my surprise  dog, but she is the sweetest dog and she is in our lives and Bud likes her. Bud likes training with her because he gets treats. At some point in the session Bud has to go to the other room. Otherwise he gets in the way. ( We don't tell him that! )
Now I pray to meet my new lessons with Marley and to handle the things i think  need to do. Its all about my dogs and counting my many blessings.

New Pup For Me -- Marley

My new service pup, Marley  in training turned out to be a dog that God wanted me to have a pup I would have never picked but my new dog trainer, Kelly found her. As it turned out so far, she wants the job of taking care of each other.

Kelly has worked with Marley for months now with many situations and Marley shows many good quia

ltires. She is very smart, she figured out how to break in the the dog -proffe   food contantier in the garage and she ate a large bag of senior dog food. We meet twice a week for bonding and training and just hanging out with me and Bud. Marley bites his head, bites his legs and the they roll around the floor biting each other until senior Bud tells her, " Okay  I have enough of your puppy play Leave Me Alone." She does. When then when we work on the command, "Get the phone." Bud gets the phone too. Of course he gets his treat for helping.
I am watching another miracle of the special bond Marley will have with me. She is a sweet girl. love cuddling in bed. I am still learning about about her mixed breed. We think Lab-Ketta dog- now Husky because of her big blue eyes. And who know what else. Kette Dog work on ranches and Husky are built to run for days on end. Labs of course are a devoted breed of children and disabilted folks.
I will share with you when my rehearse is done. For now we know she is playful and wants to have a job with me. I told you how smart she is. My dogs have a blessed life. I am the lucky one.
She just turned one. I make sure that her life with me and Bud will be fun as well as work, with me mostly fun and lots of love and every thing she need to be a well happy dog. She loves to run next to my scotter!
