Having the flu sucks ( i feel so pretty ! not

One day it started with a sore throat. The next day i was sicker than i have been forever like 30 yrs ..and never this bad or so darn long. Its been going on two weeks. I left my house one time to go to my doctor. I asked her when i can i  swim again. She just looked at me while i was coughing and then she gave a script for cough med with codeine . i still wake up every 3 -4 hours. But i think its almost over.
Bud has been by my side through sickness and health. He is my best medicine. All the news about death and the  virus is too much to handle when you  are sick. I have flu i have not been ever this sick for decades. I stayed home and rested and drank what i had to drink and 2 weeks later i am better. I am still waiting to swim and do my normal life but i am am grateful to  be healthy and
 to not have the virus. I let my body get better. Rest and time work wonders.  Now that I am better I found out that the pool at Cal Poly is closed indefinitely. Go figure! thank you, God though I am okay!
